Chapter 1 of The Lady Inside (fanfic)

OK, so it's been a while.  I needed to get deeper into the 11th Doctor in order to properly write this story.  It's ongoing and I hope you enjoy it.  More to come I hope!

New Fic-Mystery Woman

This was a fanfiction that I had started to plan after the end of Torchwood, Season 2, but before all the trauma of "Children of Earth."  It's a still in the beginning but I hope to get working in it soon, as soon as I can sort through my ideas.  Hope you enjoy.

New Theme

With the new outlook on this LJ, I decided on a new appearance.  And since I have the worst writers block, well...

And now, for my first story

If anyone is a fan of Torchwood, then "Children of Earth" was a brillant, tragic story. So traumatic, I had to write a story that tried to bring about a happier ending.

This is that story. Healing

Read it.  Let me know what you think.
I started this LiveJournal with the intention of writing an epic fanfiction set in the world of "General Hospital."
Yeah, that didn't work out so well.

Now, I am going to try to lessen my scope, but still post some of my writings, plus my thoughts on the various fandom in which I dwell, current state of the world and how the Yankees are doing. That, for the most part right now, is "Torchwood" and "Doctor Who". Especially "Torchwood", from which I am still traumitized. (Thank you, RTD). I have been doing some writing, and do intend to link this LJ to them. I also think I will try to give myself over to my muses more often.

Since I have made these changes, I have rechristened the LJ with a partial quote from T.S. Eliott's "Little Gidding." It was inscribed on a water fountain on the campus of my alma mater, and later, quoted at the end of Season 2 of "Torchwood." The full quote is as follows: "What we call the beginning is often the end and to make a end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from.  We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our beginnings will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time."

Mission Statement

I was never good at a diary. I do, however, enjoy writing. Mostly it's fanfictions for General Hospital. Because right now, I don't like where the stories are headed, I have crafted an alternate history, especially for the Cassadine family. (For those of you who are not in the know, that's Stefan and Nikolas Cassadine and Alexis, Kristina and Molly Davis). I will be using this space to upload a massive story (a saga really, but I'm too modest to think in those terms, LOL). So, enjoy the stories as they pop out of my head and onto the page.

More is coming soon, I promise.
